The club offers 2
membership levels. The difference between these
2 levels is simply the number of allocated points (10000 at Monza level
and 22500 at Monaco level) and thus the number of days hire that you can expect in any one membership period.
There is
no direct point per pound correlation.
Each car has associated with it a "point cost" (see the
fleet
pages for more information) which we calculate based on a number of factors:
- » The value of the car
- » The running costs of the car
- » The amount of demand for the car
- » The time of year
Additional points can be purchased in bundles of 1,000 points (possibly a good Christmas or birthday gift idea!)
ensuring that you need not be concerned about running out of points during the year.
Your points last for as long as you remain a member and because we understand that some of you are very busy
and may not use all your points in a given year you can carry them forward into subsequent years.
Please note that points do not have a monetary value as such and there is
therefore no "surrender value" for any point balance.
As we mentioned above one of the decisions around the point cost for a car is the time of year, we've made this
as simple as possible and simply split the time of year into 2 ratings;
high or low as follows:
- »March through to October (inclusive) is classed as high
- »November through to February (inclusive) is classed as low
Points are very much an internal currency at the club and you can spend your points not only on cars but on other
track-club services such as events and tuition.
