We recognise that for some it may be difficult to justify hiring something like the Renaultsport Clio Cup 182
and then paying for a track day. For others variety is the key - they want to try out several cars and for yet
others they simply want to answer the question "Are track days something I want to do?"
Clearly with our
fleet we're in a position to help! So over the course of a year
we run a number of events which are designed to get people interested in track days, help people find out if
track days are for them or simply to provide them with a great experience. With typical prices of £275
inclusive of everything (car, helmets, track fees, intercoms, instruction!) our events are excellent value for
money.
It's important to realise, however, that track-club is
most definitely not yet another "Red
Letter Day" experience type company. If you want to drive a tired Ferrari 3 times around Silverstone whilst
sitting next to a "nanny" who won't let you use anything other than 4th gear then there are plenty of
other companies that can help!
Le Mans - the ultimate event!
Our events are different; they're about quality time with excellent instructors who will push you to drive the
cars properly. Our events include periods of time when you will be driving the cars on your own and we won't
insult you by insisting on 4th gear or nothing over 4000rpm.
We've been running events since the start of track-club and we have the experience to make sure the days run
smoothly and that everybody enjoys themselves. We do not over-subscribe our events and the car to participant
ratio is always very good.
As an example of the kind of events we offer:
- » The track day taster
With a maximum of 6 participants these events are about showing you what a track day is all about. Perfect
as either an introduction to track days or simply as an experience for the enthusiastic driver. We bring
along 2 or 3 of our cars, a brace of superb instructors (and you do get to drive on your own!) and
then set about introducing you to high performance cars on track and what track-club is all about
- » The novice day
As the name suggest these days are strictly for novices. A strictly limited number of participants join
us at MSVs specific novice days to ensure that all track users are of similar capability. Our instructors
then introduce you to the neccessary skills to drive on circuit with the intention that at the end of the
day you are equipped with the skills and confidence to attend a standard sessioned or open pit lane day
